In an effort to further enhance reliability, velocity and truck productivity in the Port of Charleston, the South Carolina Ports Authority is extending container gate hours for all lines beginning Saturday, February 7, 2015.
As reported by the South Carolina Ports Authority February 2nd, the gate schedule will be:
Saturday Gates, 8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Motor Carriers attempting to perform dual missions must enter the lanes by 4:00 PM.
Motor Carriers attempting to perform single missions must enter the lanes by 4:30 PM.
Please keep in mind that Motor Carriers cannot deliver or receive loaded running reefers on Saturdays.
